Mossmorran, Fife, 25th May 2015

A large emergence of day-flying Common Heath moths has occurred at Mossmorrran, with 100s on the wing and moths flying up at every step through the heather. Given the ongoing work there that seems to relate to peat extraction maybe we should make the most of it while it lasts
