Fortunately I am becoming familiar with some of the species, but there was still plenty of newness to trouble the pots. Highlight of the night was a Figure of Eighty, a species which seems to be making major headway north judging by current distribution maps. Another nice one was Light Emerald, which was probably my favourite moth of the night for looks. The Figure of Eighty was only the third record of this species in Fife!
